ABOUT US

We are Matthew & Christina, a husband and wife team. Christina does all of the artwork and Matthew handles the business/technical side. Christina has always loved to draw, and used to sell some of her art online. Being part Japanese, she's always loved Japanese history and culture. She also really loves dogs (as you can tell from all of our NFT collections). Combining dogs with a Japanese theme seemed like the perfect combination! Our “Islands of Dāmaya” project is also connected to our personal lives. The islands are designed after a group of islands Matthew grew up on, and the names are based on languages that Christina grew up speaking overseas. “Dāmaya” means “chain” in a nod towards Kadena.
